Garden tours now available!

Throughout the summer months until mid-September when the United Nations is closed to the public for the UNGA general debate, special tours of the UN’s North Lawn are offered to the general public on Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. Take a stroll around the gardens with their exceptional rose collection and iconic cherry trees: learn about the story behind the “George and the Dragon” statue, see an actual segment of the Berlin Wall, and discover a “hidden gem” honouring one of the most important women in the history of the United Nations: Eleanor Roosevelt.

Book your tickets HERE!

Outdoor walking tours of the gardens take place rain or shine, so please come prepared for inclement weather. Sturdy shoes are recommended as the ground is uneven in places. Please also be aware that the United Nations beehives with live bees are situated along the tour route.
